The advanced healing of his clone body had already stopped the bleeding by the time they arrived at a bulkhead door.
Unlike the other doors this one had a flashing âdanger alertâ screen. The stab wounds from the crazy Russian captain had been mostly superficial, actually, and none had made it to any organs. The four male cosmonaut androids holding him with hands as strong as vicegrips hadnât asked about the wounds, his state of undress or the sticky thighs of the captain when they arrived. They just stunbeamed his ass and dragged him here through the quiet halls of the space station.
âYou know, you donât always have to do what she says,â he told the androids.
They didnât respond. Might as well have been statues.
âHey, you all Gagarins, been here long? Like two hundred years?â
âThese units are designated B. Boris,â One of the androids said in a soft voice.
âBoris, huh? So you talk, Boris?â
âYes.â
âIâll be honest, Boris, your captain has gone crazy and Iâve been sent here to relieve her of command. You are no longer under her orders, youâre to stand down.â
The Boris who heâd been talking to turned his head slightly to look down at him and then returned to standing at attention, staring straight ahead.
âYou have been identified as Yacob Mortimer, agent of Nevermore corporation, which is a rival power,â the Boris said.
âWhat? You believe that? Who told you that? The captain?â
âNo. You did. Furthermore we have been instructed to ignore any commands or requests you make.â
He fumed, hanging naked and helpless in the group of the four androids. He certainly hadnât mentioned anything about Nevermore since meeting this bunch; it had to be Jake2 who had screwed him.
It was a full five minutes later when he heard the click of heels on the deck plates and the little fireball captain arrived, standing in front of him, face looking entirely satisfied as she studied his predicament. She was still doing up the dress uniform jacket of a space navy officer.
âYou are spread like eagle ready to be raped by bear,â the captain said happily.
âListen, I think thereâs been a misunderstanding,â Jake began.
The captain made a gesture to the androids, pointing up, then back down. A moment later the four androids acted in unison. They turned him upside down, thumped his head precisely on the hard deck, then returned him to a horizontal position.
âYou were saying?â
âI was saying you got the wrong guy,â Jake spat out blood from a bitten tongue.
âWhat âother guyâ could there possibly be who is wander-around man-whore like you?â she said with a smile.
Jake began to laugh and it clearly made the captain angry. âYou dumb fuckin Russki, how stupid can you be? Iâm a clone! The guy you want is already dead.â
Again the captain made a gesture and one of the androids stunbeamed him in the balls with a single efficient shot.
âYou are only guy,â the captain grabbed him by the head to make him look at her while he was gagging from the pain.
